Rahul Palulli
I saw her floating along,
like a feather in the air.
Spying on the hills and valleys,
whispering to the flowery alleys,
sharing a secret to her allies.
Again she swam along the sky.
As her acquaintances passed by,
she smiled, to everyone on the way.
She smiled as if she were happy.
But soon her face grew dark,
every hidden tear flowed out,
every buried pain came out,
every conscious lie broke apart.
She was pushed to the limit.
She wished to shower down for a while,
to stay sane.
And then to sport her trademark smile,
once again –
to please the masses.
That smile’s a priceless jewel.
For, it has a wetted eye to hide,
And perhaps, a wounded soul to heal.
Nicely written ❤
Great work, Rahul!
